I’m Ryan Pletz, a multidisciplinary creative professional specializing in marketing, design, photography, and media relations. With over two decades of experience developing brands, managing visual communications, and creating dynamic media across industries, I bring together strategic thinking and creative execution to help clients tell their stories with authenticity, precision, and impact.
 

Through my company, PL3TZ Media Relations, I’ve provided creative and marketing solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients — from global brands and national sports organizations to local businesses and nonprofits. My work spans brand identity, packaging design, apparel graphics, photography, video production, e-commerce, and social media marketing, with a focus on producing visually compelling assets that drive engagement and elevate brand presence.
 

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with renowned names including Getty Images, UnitedHealthCare, Merrell, Disney, the Minnesota Twins, and the Minnesota Vikings, as well as numerous agencies, startups, and event organizations. Whether designing a product line, managing a digital marketing campaign, or capturing high-impact visuals behind the camera, I approach each project with creative curiosity, technical mastery, and a results-driven mindset.
 

I’m fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite — including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, and Lightroom — and bring more than 40 years of combined technical experience across both Mac and PC platforms. My creative expertise extends into video direction, animation, web design (HTML, WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce), and SEO/SEM strategy for brand development and e-commerce optimization.
 

As a licensed UAV (drone) pilot, I capture aerial content that merges artistry with technical precision, producing visual perspectives that enhance storytelling for brands, events, and media productions. My background also includes photography and marketing work for major retail partners such as Target, Walmart, Macy’s, and Costco, as well as apparel and design collaborations with brands under the NBA, NCAA, and entertainment licensing umbrella.
 

Beyond design and marketing, I’ve served as a corporate trainer, event manager, and media consultant, helping teams and organizations refine their communication strategies and execute creative campaigns at scale. My work in public relations, e-commerce, and creative production has shaped a career built on adaptability, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of visual excellence.
 

When I’m not behind a lens or in the design studio, I contribute my time as a photographer and designer for community organizations, including the Maple Grove Dance Team Booster Club and We Day Minnesota, helping amplify stories that inspire and connect people.
 

At my core, I’m a creator, communicator, and connector — passionate about turning ideas into visuals that move people.
